Fast and accurate branch cutting

The branch cutter which mounts on the S30 side arms – both on the hydraulic and the mechanical side arm – is a fast and efficient tree trimmer. The 700 mm diameter circular sawblade cuts the branches cleanly and, if needed, also small trees.

When removing tree branches the sawblade is in vertical position, but thanks to the hydraulic tilting of the S30 side arms’ jib boom the blade can also be turned to horizontal position and cut down small trees. Thanks to the telescopic loader boom of Avant, the cutting  height can be as high as 4 metres, depending on the loader model.

And if needed, the outreach can be  increased by one more metre with the optional manually telescoping extension arm on the S30 side arm. The adjustable side outreach of the S30 side arms, plus the optional extension arm give flexibility and allow cutting in various distances from the loader.

Telescopic extension for longer distance work

The optional extension arm with manually extendable telescope can be mounted both on the hydraulic and on the mechanical S30 side arm. It gives extra outreach and working height with certain S30 attachments like the Branch cutter and Cutting bars.

The extension arm can be locked with a locking pin in four different outreach positions: 550 mm (without telescoping), 620, 780, or 950 mm. The arm also comes with the hydraulic hose extension kit A412129 (3 pcs 800 mm long hoses) for the attachment.

Max. load on the extension arm is 100 kg, which means the following S30 attachments can be mounted on it: Branch cutter, Cutting bars and Multi function drive unit.
